Recent Project Highlight: Lambton County
Before: This Lambton County property began as a blank slate with a newly built home and bare ground (no grass or gardens in sight). The homeowners dreamed of a welcoming front entrance and an outdoor entertaining area, but their yard’s sloping terrain and clay soil posed a challenge. We saw an opportunity to design a unique solution that blended beauty with practicality.
After: In the front yard, we installed a graceful curved interlocking stone walkway accented by natural armour stone edging and freshly mulched garden beds. This defined entry path not only boosts curb appeal but also improves drainage on the sloped yard. Now, when guests arrive, they’re guided from the gravel driveway to the front door by an inviting walkway that looks as if it’s always belonged there.
After: In the backyard, we created a circular paver patio entertainment area using an intricate stone pattern. Set just off the home’s walkout basement, this spacious patio provides the perfect spot for outdoor dining and cozy firepit nights. We integrated the design with the existing concrete retaining walls and made sure to address grading for proper runoff, so even after a heavy rain, the patio stays enjoyable and puddle-free.
